SDL ACUBIS

Slim profiles, maximum light, perfect for cubic structures
The internal structural members of the non-isolated aluminium profile system lend the roof a breezy elegance. The 2° roof pitch is barely visible to the naked eye, but is enough to ensure that water drains off the roof area perfectly. A flat, one-piece wall joint ensures visual lightness and also enables simple installation on the construction site.
GLASS CUBES

The Solarlux glass canopy system SDL Acubis is a non-insulated aluminium profile system with internal statics. The use of profiles specially developed for this application area enables slim profile constructions to be achieved. Areas of application are open, partially closed and closed glass canopies and non-insulated glass houses.

DESIGN FEATURES

Can be designed as a monolith or pitched roof.
The roof is drained by means of a gutter. Concealed drainage or emergency drainage is possible in the supports.
Detached construction or construction connected to the house architecture can be executed by means of a wall joint
The one-piece wall connection allows easy installation. The rafters are screwed directly to the wall joint.
The roof always has a pitch of 2°.
Depending on the version, three- or four-sided all-round screen only 253 mm in height
Single glazing made of laminated safety glass with 8, 10 or 12 mm glass thickness is used.
The powder-coated and rounded Solarlux aluminium system profiles form a harmonious unit. The design is timelessly elegant
The extensive range of profiles allows building-related selection according to size and static requirements. Steel reinforcements can be inserted into the slots in the load-bearing profiles. This allows large roof constructions and maximum opening and span widths.
The supports can be retracted from the end of the eaves, allowing optimum static use of the profile cross-sections. The positioning of the supports is variable.
Glass canopy lighting can be elegantly implemented using spotlights that can be integrated into the rafters. The cable routing is concealed by a cable duct in the wall joint.
Both an underglass awning and vertical shading are optionally available for the system.
